Mommy's Little Helper

When Mom was here, I guess she taught Abby how to do some yard work. One of her favorite things right now is to pick up the sticks (and sometimes grass and leaves) and put them in the stick pile. She says yay and claps as soon as she throws it down.

Yesterday, she decided to water my plants. She took the watering can off the porch and carried it to the faucet in the middle of the yard. She then tried to turn on the water but couldn't, so I put a little water in it and she carried it back to the flower bed in front of the porch. Then she poured out the water and headed back to the faucet. She repeated this ten or fifteen times and managed to get the water on once. Leonard put too much water in there a few times and she ended up watering her pants instead of the flowers. It was really cute and I'll have to add the pictures later.

Abby also decided to try blowing bubbles herself. We need to get new bubble mix because last year's bottle stayed outside all winter and won't make bubbles. That didn't deter Abby and she kept putting the wand in the bottle and either blowing on the wand or waving it around. Finally she decided it was more fun to hit the flowers with the wand.
